Product Description
The ZGB series slurry pump is a horizontal cantilever single-stage, single-suction, double-case, and high head centrifugal slurry pump. It is designed to handle large capacities and multi-stage series applications to remove ash and sludge or deliver liquid-solids mixtures.
Three Shaft Seal Options:
✔
Auxiliary Impeller Power Seal: Uses pressure generated by the impeller in series; suitable when inlet pressure is ≤10% of outlet pressure.
✔
Packing Seal: Common form suitable for abrasive or high-temperature conditions using tetrafluoroethylene or graphite packing.
✔
Mechanical Seal: Advanced technology with container structure for easy replacement, featuring high hardness ceramic or alloy friction pairs.
Pump Features
❶Advanced hydraulic performance and CAD modern design for high efficiency.
❷Wide passage and non-clogging performance.
❸Metric bearing with oil lubrication and optimized cooling systems for low-temperature operation.
❹Anti-wearing and anti-corrosion wet parts suitable for seawater ash-removing.
❺Maximum working pressure up to 3.6 Mpa in multi-stage operation.

Pump Driven Types
DC Type
Direct connection via coupler. Best when pump speed matches motor speed.
CV Type
Belt driven with motor support located above the bearing support to save space.
ZV Type
Belt drive where the motor is fixed directly to the bearing support for higher horsepower.
CR Type
Side-installed belt drive where both motor and pump are fixed to the ground.
Slurry Handling Applications
Used widely in metallurgy, mining, mineral processing, dredging, de-watering, water treatment, coal washing, mill feeding, and power generation. It serves as a booster pump, tailing pump, transfer pump, or concentrate pump depending on industrial requirements.
Choosing the Best Slurry Pump
- Centrifugal Slurry Pumps: The primary choice for abrasive transportation and high-concentration solids.
- Submersible Slurry Pumps: Ideal for dredging and underwater extraction without priming needs.
- Piston Diaphragm Pumps: Best for highly viscous and sticky slurries.
- Peristaltic Pumps: Perfect for shear-sensitive materials in pharmaceutical or food processing.
Production & Quality Control
Our facility features a dedicated casting workshop with over 20 years of experience. We utilize complete production lines and strictly avoid recycling materials. Every product undergoes 4 to 5 inspections, including material testing, hardness checks, dimension detection, and impeller balance (static and dynamic).

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1: What is the main application of the ZGB series pump?
A1: It is primarily used for heavy-duty slurry transportation in mining, coal washing, metallurgy, and electric power stations, especially for removing ash and sludge.
Q2: What is the maximum head capacity for these pumps?
A2: The ZGB series can achieve a maximum head between 110m and 150m, making it ideal for high-pressure delivery.
Q3: Are these pumps resistant to corrosion?
A3: Yes, the wet parts are made of High Chrome Alloy A05, providing excellent anti-wearing and anti-corrosion properties against abrasive solids and seawater.
Q4: Can the pump be installed in a multi-stage series?
A4: Yes, the ZGB series is designed for multi-stage operation with a permissible maximum working pressure of up to 3.6 Mpa.
Q5: What driving options are available?
A5: We offer DC (Direct Connection), CV (Vertical Belt Drive), ZV (Overhead Belt Drive), and CR (Side Belt Drive) to suit different space and power requirements.
Q6: How do you ensure the quality of the pump parts?
A6: We control quality from our own casting workshop, using only new materials (no recycling) and performing 4 to 5 strict inspections before delivery.
